Terramoto
Following the massive Chilean earthquake
of 26 February 2010, the numerous aftershocks were measured and
analysed for interval trends, magnitude and intensity. The
results were compiled with visualisations for publication within the
context of choosing appropriate models for representing the dynamics
of the data collected. This work was carried out using
non-parametric statistical methods but has led to a machine learning
approach, which is now the topic of a more general methodological
approach to geospatial data analysis.
